Patch 3.21 has released and a large amount of content and datamining revelations with it. Thoth makes his debut as an Egyptian mage, making his use of his book and attacking with hieroglyphs. He brigs some interesting abilities to the table and is certainly worth a look at. The next god to release should be Nike, our very first Greek warrior! Her abilities seem to focus on defensive tactics, with an ult that transforms her in to an amoured sentinel for 5 seconds, making her immune to damage and sending out a damaging shockwave at the end of the sequence. Of course, all of her abilities are subject to change and she’s yet to even be officially announced. The Odyssey continues, passing through the Roman empire. Terra receives a fantastic skin, “Igneous”, coating her in volcaninc stone and ash with magma pouring through openings in her rocky carapace. High noon Sylvanus has the little man himself decked out as a wild west gunslinger, whilst Grover becomes a ginormous sentient cactus. Make note that the latter skin is 600 gems as opposed to the standard 500 for Odyssey content. A new ward skin is also available for 200 gems, Demonic Pact. It’s a nice extra for any left over gems you might have, or better yet, a cheap way to reach the next tier of rewards, such as the just released Baron Frostchild Ymir skin. The 2017 SWC Digital loot Pack is up too, with a high price tag of 1500 gems, but a miniature boat load of content included. You’ll get a roll of the Divine Chest, that includes past convention skins and more, the SWC Amaterasu Skin, Convention Khepri, SWC Apollo, Heebee Chibi Hades, a SWC recall skin, ward, and Thunder Sticks global emote. It will be avaialble from now through to the SWC. Datamining also shows the model for Jurrassic Camazotz, depicting him as a Pterosaur. A special Christmas Arena will feature over the holiday season, as well as a game mode called Fafnir’s Wonderland, which is thought to have environmental, snow and ice based hazards.
